Terms & Conditions 

These terms and conditions are for the benefit of both client and therapist. By booking and attending a treatment, it is taken as agreed that you have read, understood and abide by the Terms and Conditions as laid out here. 
 
Therapist commitment 
To work to the best of my abilities for each and every client, and maintain professional working practices. This includes abiding by the ethical policies of my professional bodies, and honouring my commitment to continual personal and professional development. 
All treatments provided by will last for the specified duration i.e. a 60 minute treatment will last 60 minutes. 
Treatments will only be conducted if the treatment is safe for the client to receive and if GP/Consultant permission is required, the client will be requested to provide this in writing before treatments can be received. 
Therapies will be personalised for each client’s individual needs to give maximum benefit. 
Client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, except in the circumstance where the client is referred to another practitioner, where the therapist and client will agree what can be shared, and the therapist will provide a copy of any letters if the client requires. 
All information is kept securely on file. 
 
Client Commitment 
All clients are asked to complete a confidential consultation form, which will include a medical history prior to treatment and will receive a brief consultation as part of their treatment at the beginning of the treatment programme. 
All clients are asked to complete the consultation form and any further questions to the best of their knowledge, and the client also agrees to provide updated information for any changes in on-going medical treatments as these may affect their therapy treatments. 
 
Privacy 
By signing the consultation form, clients are giving the therapist permission to hold these records and records of completed treatments about them. 
Client treatment details remain private and confidential between the client and the therapist. 
Personal information will not be shared with any third parties. 
Cancellation Policy 
When a treatment choice, time and duration has been mutually agreed, this is deemed to be a confirmed booking. 
Clients are asked to make cancellations by telephone, email or text. 
If a cancellation is made more than 24 hours before a treatment, the client will not be charged. 
If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours before the treatment booking, the client will be expected to pay the full price of the treatment. This must be paid within 28 days of the cancellation. 
Any cancellation fees may be waived at the therapist’s discretion. 
If I am unable to carry out the treatment due to illness, the client will be notified as soon as possible, and an alternative appointment time will be made as close as possible to the original appointment time. 
 
Payment 
Payment in cash, bank transfer or via credit/debit cards are accepted. 
Payment is expected at the end of each treatment. (Bank transfers will only be accepted if cleared on the day of treatment.) 
Discounted packages are available on request; these must be paid for in advance.

Client recognises and understands that massage and other similar body-work treatments are therapeutic in nature and are NOT a substitute for medical examination or medical care. Complementary therapies are to be used alongside, rather than in place of conventional medical care. Always consult your GP or a healthcare professional for medical attention and advice. Therapists are not qualified general medical practitioners, any views or opinions expressed on topics outside of their acknowledged training should be treated purely as that and must not be acted upon before consulting your own GP or healthcare professional.
